The Light of the Beloved ﷺ

Authentic stories from the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ — written by devoted volunteers in 16 languages.

An Introduction

What Is Seerah?

Seerah, often referred to as Seerat-un-Nabi, is the detailed study of the life, character, and mission of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The word "Seerah" in Arabic literally means "path" — and represents the journey of the Prophet's life from his birth in Makkah to his passing in Madinah.

It is not merely a historical record; it is a comprehensive guide to understanding how divine guidance was lived. While the Qur'an delivers principles, the Prophet ﷺ demonstrated how those teachings were applied — with compassion, justice, patience, and unwavering faith.

Studying Seerah is about transformation. It encourages believers to embody the noble character of the Beloved ﷺ — and in today's world, it remains a timeless source of guidance and inspiration for all of humanity.
